Private Event at the Edison – Half off for Enthusiasts

Hello Enthusiasts –

Apologies for two posts so soon together, but I really should have posted this yesterday.

Loyal readers will recall a prior post where I wrote about stumbling on to a great band, Vaud and the Villains, at the Edison a couple of weeks back. (if not, check it out here). You’ve also read how much I like the Edison overall – the most dramatic space Downtown, if not the entire City. (and if you missed THAT post, check it out here.)

Well, this Tuesday night, the Edison is doing a very cool private event that a) you probably only know about because you’re reading about it here; and b) you can get in for half off because you’re reading about it here. (The Edison is normally closed on Tuesdays.)

Here’s the official invite:

Don’t let “Sensous. Exotic. Subervsive.” scare you – it’s all pretty user friendly. (conversely, if those descriptions make you want to come out even more, even better.)

As you can see, Vaud and the boys (and girls) will be playing and special guest mixologists are coming in from New York – Milk and Honey is a truly legendary bar for mixologists (the guy who helped start Milk and Honey is also a partner and co-founder of the Varnish). All this along, of course, with our own all star mixologists from here in Los Angeles. And it’s all in advance of World Cocktail Week, which is right around the corner.

Finally, even though the $10 cover isn’t bad, if you give the code RR428 (i.e., Radio Room, 4/28) at the door, they’ll give you half off.

So I hope to see you Tuesday night starting at 8 pm. And see? You read my blog and good things happen.

Keep your enthusiasm up, and happy travels.
